Pablo Castaneda, site manager at our client’s Cincinnati site, is being recognized with the “Operational Excellence Award” for Q1 2021 by Merit Logistics’ senior operations leadership team.
Pablo is receiving this award for consistently meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations at this location, while also assisting and providing oversight on several new customer projects. Pablo started with Merit Logistics in January 2020 when he relocated from southern California to take the position in Cincinnati. Pablo’s role was recently expanded to include management of a struggling client warehouse located in another city in Ohio. He did an exceptional job working with our client and associates there to stabilize the site and meet customer needs. His efforts in this case were instrumental in Merit securing additional business and positive referrals from this client.
Pablo continually demonstrates initiative in solving operational issues that arise and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing customer environment.
Jason Giuliany, Senior Vice President of Operations, shared, “Pablo deserves this recognition. He always reacts selflessly, and we have seen time and again where he sees the job that needs to get done and puts the customer first. His professionalism carries throughout his work.”
Vern Malpass, Chief Operating Officer, added, “We needed some time studies done at a new site, and Pablo went above and beyond in his willingness to help. He went over to the client’s warehouse at 11 o’clock at night. We are thankful for the caliber of his work ethic.”
“Since Pablo came aboard with Merit, he has been an excellent team player,” said Greg Houston, Regional Director of Operations (Midwest). “He took over the site at CFC, which is very special to me because that’s where I started as a site manager. Pablo would say ‘Boss, I got it,’ and he has had it ever since. Pablo, you’re right, you got it! Thank you for your tireless effort and dedication. WE EARN IT!”
Congratulations Pablo!
