Merit Logistics was founded in 2005 as a non-asset-based freight forwarding company headquartered in Hayward, California. A privately held and wholly standalone company, it has expanded the range of services it provides to include warehousing and distribution services.

Kevin Scherer, who co-founded Merit Logistics, serves as the company's president and CEO. A 15-year veteran in executive management in the transportation and logistics industry, he literally grew up in the industry. His father operates a very successful freight trucking company in the Bay Area.

Merit Logistics offers a range of specialized services, including handling the transportation, warehousing and distribution of high-tech electronic components and equipment. We are one of only a handful of transportation and logistics companies offering services tailored to meeting the very exacting needs of the high-tech industry.
